Surveys Traditional survey methods mean either scaffolding the whole building, expensive rope access teams or clumsy “cherry pickers”. These options are expensive and can require several days to set up and dismantle. Elevated Shots provides the solution by allowing a detailed photographic survey without the need for external structures or any contact with the fabric of the building (100% zero touch) and takes less than a day to complete. The ease of use of the equipment means that surveyors are able to view the condition of large areas of the external faces using the CCTV monitor at ground level and then zoom-in to photograph the areas of most concern. |

Planning Applications

Low-level aerial photographs to support planning applications. Most planning submissions will benefit greatly from a number of bird’s-eye view images of the site. This will assist the planning committee in its overall understanding of the proposed scheme and to ‘set the site’ within its immediate surroundings. Planning appeals is another successful area for Elevated-Shots.com and we recently assisted a developer to win permission for a development of flats on appeal. The original application was rejected due to the objections of surrounding householders concerning their loss of privacy. To determine exactly what could be seen from this new development, Elevated Shots sited their telescopic mast at the precise location of each of the proposed blocks of flats. The remote control camera was raised to the height of the window openings in the each of the three storey’s to capture the view into the gardens of surrounding properties. The aerial images precisely recorded what could and could not be seen from the proposed new development and were used by the client as evidence to support his case. |
